Pierce Brosnan has been photographed enough times that nothing looks overly forced anymore. The once Bond actor stands there, wears the clothes, and lets the camera do all the talking.
Mid last year, Brosnan was shot by Charlie Gray of Arena HOMME+ Magazine, notably wearing the Roll-Royce of sunglasses with his vintage watch locked on his wrist. Class.
Here’s the shoot photos for the aesthete’s among us. Those that love good tailoring and simple accessories.
Pierce Brosnan for Arena HOMME+ Magazine wearing Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses and a Girard-Perregaux watch / Charlie Gray
The focus in the shoot is clearly on his shades and wristwear. Brosnan wears Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses, specifically the Lockheed and the Dealan models. Both are limited edition frames with thick acetate and strong shapes.
On his wrist is a Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 with a simple dial and rectangular case. He bought the watch in the early 2000s while filming in New York City, saying his knees were shaking after spending more money than he was comfortable on for watch. It’s more dressy than his iconic Bond Omega Seamaster and completes his suiting ensembles no matter the style, colour or fabric.
