The Land Cruiser, the off-road legend, is back, and this time it’s got a green side too.

Toyota’s cooking up a beast that screams quality and durability, with a turbocharged diesel engine kicking things off, followed by a mild-hybrid joining the range in 2025.

Promoting “adventure-ready comfort”, the interior seats up to 5, with leather-trimmed front seats and a 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen to “prioritise convenience even during off-road excursions.”

Whether you’re a typical adventurer or simply seeking an uncomplicated ride, the new 2024 Land Cruiser is the perfect blend of functionality and classic style.

Audi Q6 e-tron

Audi Q6 e-tron

Audi’s had its electric game on point for some time now, and the Q6 e-tron is the shining star.

Forget the A6 e-tron secrets; the Q6 talks about a 370-mile range family-sized SUV that charges extremely fast.

Packed with screens like a sci-fi movie, this EV brings Audi’s style and tech to the electric SUV playground.

"With the world’s first active digital light signature, the Q6 e-tron prototype is ushering in a new era of distinctive design and aesthetics unique to Audi."

Prices are expected to start around $66,000 and increase to $81,000 depending on the trim and options.

Mercedes AMG GT

2024 Mercedes AMG GT

Mercedes‘ new AMG GT is a four-wheeled adrenaline shot.

It was revealed at Monterey Car Week and will aim to rival the Porsche 911.

The new GT Coupe is larger and heavier than its predecessor, now featuring a ‘2+2’ layout with rear seats suitable for kids, making it arguably more practical than before.

Contributing to the substantial increase in weight (+300kg) is the fact it’s all-wheel drive, now standard on all V8 models. It’s fuel efficient, looks sleek and is fast. Very fast. Hitting 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

Prices will range from $295,000 to $400,000.

Mercedes EQG

The G-Class, the symbol of off-road supremacy, is going electric!

Meet the EQG, an all-electric G-Wagon with the same boxy charm and a dash of eco-friendliness.

This EV will still have its adventurous capabilities, with an impressive party trick – the tank turn. Put simply this car can literally do a full 360° spin. On the spot. See the video below to see what we mean.

The concept EQG is fitted with a lockable box in place of the traditional spare wheel housing, allowing you to store charging cables and provide some extra storage for longer adventures.

It will be powered by four electric motors, individually controllable on each wheel, with the aim to improve on and off-road driving performance.

Pricing is expected to be around $150,000 and be available toward the end of 2024.

MG is on a roll with style.

The Cyberster, MG’s all-electric two-seater, is here to challenge the leaders – Porsche, Alpine, and Lotus.

Priced at around $60,000 it’s an affordable pocket rocket with scissor doors and displays wrapping around the driver.

An interesting move from MG, nonetheless a promising one.

Porsche Macan EV

After the Taycan’s success, Porsche is unleashing its second EV beast – the Macan EV.

With chassis tweaks, dual-motor power, and over 600bhp, it’s the driving thrill you expect from a Porsche, just without the gas.

It features a more rounded shape, making it look smaller and sleeker than in real life. This also contributes to lowering its aerodynamic drag, an aspect Porsche does incredibly well.

The SUV boasts an impressive charging rate from 10 to 80 per cent in just 22 minutes, ticking the box for long-haul drives.

It is expected to arrive within the $80,000 to $100,000 range.

Aston Martin Valhalla

2024 Aston Martin Valhalla

Now for the main act.

The Aston Martin Valhalla.

It’s the first mid-engined roadster from the luxury car brand, and only 999 lucky people will get to experience the feeling of owning one.

Aston Martin has scrapped the V6 for a bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, allowing the car to hit 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds. With a carbon fibre dance and F1-inspired aerodynamics, the Valhalla has been built for speed.

With carbon fibre construction, adaptive dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes, handling shouldn’t be an issue. And the impressive thing? Aston Martin hasn’t compromised driver safety to achieve such features. It includes automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.

In a nutshell, the 2024 Aston Martin Valhalla is probably the most anticipated car release this year, and it’s got every reason to hold that title. It blends power, luxury, and cutting-edge technology to define the future of hypercars. Who knows, it may even weave its way into the James Bond universe in the near future…

Pricing is expected to start around $800,000.

To the 999 people who will get one, drive it fast (but safely) and enjoy.
