Long before social media turned every car launch into a full-blown spectacle, Porsche was telling stories in ink with their ads. Minimalist layouts. Dry wit. A headline that made you laugh. Maybe a black-and-white shot of a 911 carving a corner in the Alps. Maybe just the curve of a fender, accompanied by a line like, “Honestly, now, did you spend your youth dreaming about someday owning a Nissan or a Mitsubishi?”

It’s these vintage Porsche adverts that have been fazed out over the years, and to our disappointment probably wont come back, that we need a little more of in the world.
